James Mayor is a British writer and journalist based in Lisbon
With a focus on social issues, politics, culture, travel, sustainability and wine, and a special interest in Portugal, James is published in Portuguese and British media, framing the issues of today, from hate speech to early onset Parkinson’s and AI to climate adaptation.
James has been a contributor to JancisRobinson.com, participated in Michael Portillo’s Long Weekend in Lisbon, written for Arte Capital, and interviewed legacy Douro winemakers such as Dirk Niepoort and Paul Symington (these interviews can be viewed on You Tube).
